Perhaps one of the cutest ways to learn some emotions is with Happy, Sad, Feeling Glad. There is a little description of what is going on in the picture and then the child gets to draw in things to help the scene. What I think is great is that it’s a way to get hands-on with learning which helps a lot of kids. The pictures are cute and the emotions are portrayed very well.
Since my daughter is still pretty young (3) this is another way to help her learn to draw better. She loves art so this book is something she really enjoys doing. She knows her emotions very well from reading the book A Whole Bunch of Feelings last year so this is another way to reiterate feelings in a hands-on way with something she loves; art.
