When your child is teething and being a huge grump as a result you try to do everything to help them with the pain. Our second daughter has not been a fan of teethers. But luckily I have not run into the problem we did with our first. Our first daughter broke every single teether she had. I am talking like full on bit pieces off the teethers. It has been a challenge to find a teether that our second daughter would use. She really likes the Play Together Caterpillar we got. We also got this one called Lil Dimpl. It is a smaller teether than the caterpillar one but she really seems to like it. We keep it in the car for her and even in this hot Texas heat it has not melted which is a huge plus. In case you do not know Texas heat is about 100+ degrees and things often melt when left in the car.
lol Dimpl is a cute little blue man (you get an assorted color) with one of those popping spots. It is a pretty big popper since it is on the head of the little man. One thing I will say is I wish it had more poppers like each hand could be a popper and each foot could have been a popper, too. Since there are not poppers on the limbs of the little man his body is very bendable. It reminds me of those silly bands that used to be popular when I was in high school. Now I call it a little man but it is actually a very good size for a toddler. Our daughter is teething her back teeth in the molar area and this Lil Dimpl teether is able to reach those back teeth without choking her. This is probably the most important positive about this teether. With our first daughter it was he’d to find a teether that she could use for her back teeth as well so I am glad that with this little man she can get the teeth that are bothering her the most.
Another plus I have found for this teether is that since it can be stretched out it is very useful for when our daughter gets angry. Even though she is a baby she gets quite the attitude and it can be difficult to calm her down. With this teether she can pull it and stretch it out all she wants to elevate her anger and frustration. We just placed an order for a custom 3rd grade kit and I am so excited to get it in the mail. What cool things do you have for your little one? Anything to help with teething? Things to help with a baby’s temper? Let me know in the comment section below.
